Human relationships intrigue and inspire me. From a young age, I've been an observer of human interaction and have always loved learning new things about life by observing others. However, it's not enough to just observe. As an artist, one of the most important lessons I've learned is that I have a voice.  As a photographer, sharing my unique perspective of the world through the lens of a camera, is my way of speaking up.

This love of photography, art and human relationships lead me to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art and Graphic Design, and I am so thrilled to be doing what I love, as a wedding and lifestyle photographer. It is my sincere hope that through these photographs, others will gain a renewed appreciation not only for the beauty surrounding them, but the beauty and joy within themselves.

I truly believe that photography has the power not only to preserve and document, but to inspire and change our lives, sometimes on a grand scale, but more often on an intimate, personal level. If my photography does this on any level, I've done my job.

My mom was always my biggest cheerleader. From the moment I picked up my first pencil and entered my first art contest at the age of seven, to my decision to pursue a career in the arts, she has encouraged every artistic endeavor along the way. From paints, pencils and plenty of paper, to my first real camera, she always made it a point to invest in my love of art and encouraged me to develop my skills. So in honor of her lasting legacy, 10% of all proceeds from my Fine Art Collection will go to the Nancy Harlan Memorial Scholarship. Love you always, mom!
